First, slacking. I've been slacking. I haven't been taking pictures of everything I eat then posting them here. Instead I've been focusing on starting and finishing books. It's going really well. I finished A Year In Provence by Peter Mayle, Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro, the first six stories of J.D. Salinger's Nine Stories and have just started Margaret Atwood's The Robber Bride. After The Robber Bride I have Adele Wiseman's Crackpot lined up. Other than reading, I've been filling my time with eating Seafood Soon Tofu at Buk Chang Dong Soon Tofu with good friend C. I went to two shows at the Phoenix in the last 10 days: Yeasayer with Smith Western's; The Dodos with Deerhoof. Enter topic number two: music lately. On Wednesday the 8th I wrote in my day planner "Conil, Peter Gabriel, Yeasayer, Kate Bush, The Dodos." I suppose that's what I was listening to while punching away at the keyboard, entering data. Today I would also like to add Serge Gainsbourg, Bon Iver and Deerhoof to the list. Thought I'd share a sampling of music via YouTube to illustrate my musical taste for June.
